Activities for Creative Challenge
The lifetime motto of the late Chung Ju-Yung, founder of the University of Ulsan, was 'challenging and pioneering’, and it continually inspires the UOU students. To motivate and prepare the students for the 21st century, UOU offers unique programs which are designed to develop creative thinking by focusing on various aspects of the entrepreneurship of Mr. Chung Ju-Yung
UOU students actively participate in extracurricular activities on campus. As of 2021, there are about 64 student societies on a variety of topics and interests including sports, arts, social service and religion. They help students expand their experiences and perspectives by providing a venue for social exchange.
